My friend just did a test and it came up positive and then did a clear blue and it was negative, is this possible????

Well her positive is really faint so her levels probably aren't strong enough to read on a digital test yet.  But I'm sure everything is fine and she just needs to wait a few days!

I would suggest she wait until first thing in the morning tomorrow and use the first urine of the day and test again! It's most accurate that way

Her levels aren't high enough to show up on a digital test. And her levels are going to be higher with first morning urine. So if she took another line test later in the day, it may show negative because the hormone isn't as potent later in the day. She needs to only take the tests in the morning until she is further along.

This was my 1st positive test. I took a digital and it said No. But I am definitely pregnant :) 13 wks now! If you're early, it's bc your hormones aren't high enough yet. You're pregnant :)

The one she got a positive one on is an early test she's probably pretty early yet not too far along. The clear blue especially digitals aren't as accurate that early on. She should re-test in few days of the early one and see if line is darker and maybe closer to another week test with digital!

You can't get a false positive but you can get false negatives. That's what I was told by my doctor.

Yep, it happened to me. Different test have different sensitivity levels.

I got a positive with a faint line, then a negative on the digital.  I re-tested with another digital like 2 hours later and it was positive.  I think the digital ones just aren't as sensitive.
