What to expect at the Doctors office?!!!

So I just took 3 different brands of home pregnancy tests and ALL came back positive. According to clear blue digital, I am about 6-7 weeks!! Yay, this would be my first baby. So what now? Will they start my first prenatal care or would they just do a pregnancy test to confirm that I am pregnant?  And just come back for a prenatal check-up later?

I'm 10 weeks today and I went for my first appointment yesterday. No urine test, no blood test, nothing. They basically just took my word for it. I have an ultra sound scheduled in 2 weeks but was still kind of disappointing.

I found out I was pregnant at about 5 weeks. I called the doc and got in about a week later. She took urine and blood and a pap and history. Gave me a packet about healthy eating, dos and don'ts. Sent me for ultrasound at 7 weeks because she didn't want me to go early - if they didn't see a heartbeat if could have just been too early and then I'd worry for nothing.

My dr scheduled a confirmation ultrasound at 8 weeks, then i had my first appt like 2 weeks later. My first appt took forever, due to paperwork, health/family history, blood work, and pap. After that is was all routine... how im feeling, if anything is changed and what not. They did find the heart by doppler at 10 weeks, so that was exciting. The first few months you really wont even see the dr but like every 4 weeks, unless something is wrong and you need to make an appt. All drs are different, so you visits might go different than mine

When you call and schedule they probably do blood work and a confirmation us.  Every time you go you have to pee in a cup so the first time they may do a pg test or just use the us.  Some offices won't see you till 8-12 weeks so depending on your doctor you could be seen sooner or not for a while!  I was seen at 8 weeks and heard the heartbeat and saw baby!  Congrats and good luck!

They shouldn't need to do a PG test. You'll need to call and schedule an appt. don't be surprised if the don't get you in right away. I think They had me wait a month before they seen me. They may draw your blood and make you pee in a cup on your first visit. My dr used the US machine to confirm there was a baby in there and get a measurement to see how far along I was. You may not be as far along as you think you are. I was a week and 1 day behind what I had figured out. That was all they did for me my first visit with #3.
