Testing too early?

We've been trying for 8 months. My AF is due tomorrow but I've had no cramping andy breasts aren't sore (which both start happening 2-3 days before normally). Slightly nauseous during the day for the past few days. Got a BFN today but is there still a possibility? Should I retest in a week or so?
