Extra fussy lately?!

Has anyone's baby been super fussy or needy? My son is 17 weeks and for the past week he won't sleep unless I'm holding him or it's the long sleep of the night. During the day he just sleeps for 20 mins then wakes up crying plus he's also been eating constantly, I bf him and I feel like he's wanting more than I give but he falls asleep with a boob but then wakes up wanting a boob! I'm exhausted I finally have been giving him formula here and there to help (I feel like a failure doing that) but I need a break! 😭
