Wondering if anyone here has cats? I've heard changing cat litter while pregnant is a big no no. Also heard, it's ok to scoop it IF it's done at least once every 24 hours. Supposedly the bacteria/virus takes 24 hours to be an issue? Also heard that if gloves and a face mask are worn, it's ok. Went to the dr on Tuesday. Tried to ask him but before I could finish my question, he said flat out, don't go around cat litter. My question is... how do I take care of cat litter when my hubby is out of state for 1.5 months this winter?? I don't see it sitting there for that amount of time, the smell would be horrid AND one of my cats will pee on my bed if it gets too dirty for her.
