Getting a protective order.....
Been sitting in the court house for three and a half hours freezing my ass off waiting for someone in the family violence office to help ensure my ex can't stalk, harass, or abuse me any more.
WHY ON EARTH do we as a society not offer more help to those who need it?! Wine he assaulted me he was given a therapist and anger management classes and every bit of help. But me?! I'm left having to give up two days of my life just to get a piece of paper saying he can't contact me.
