How much do IUDs usually cost you out of pocket?

I need to get some type of birth control and an IUD seems to be the best fit but I want to know how expensive it could be before I make the calls to set it up. I don't want to go on the pill because I would rather have something that I don't have to worry about. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure where youblive but I live inbhouston and we have a clinic called North Houston Clinic and it for low income families. It took a while to get an appointment but I got the IUD for no cost to me.

I got mine for free and the annual check up for it is free as well.

I had mine places by a resident (MD in training), at Planned Parenthood. It cost me $50 out of pocket. Totally worth it!

My copper IUD + insertion was about $200, insurance chipped in about $900

Try the health department. I got the nexplanon and had to get a yearly physical and I paid $20. The original cost for everything was $600.

I know a girl who had to pay out $1500 for her IUD and insertion. She also had to travel from one state to another.
In total I think it cost her $2300 for everything.

Here in Australia, IUDs are on our PBS, so they're either free for some, or incredibly cheap, like between $6-$35, and insertions are usually covered also. 
I had to pay out of pocket for my insertion, which was just under $300.

Planned parenthood would be your best option. They offer payment plans. And scale it based off of income.
