Mucus plug or bloody show?

Had my membranes stripped yesterday, I was 3 cm dilated and idk how effaced..she didn't say but today, I was wiping and some blood came out with mucus in it. Been having some mild cramping since yesterday. I don't know if bloody show and mucus plug are the same thing? And if so, how long after having either did you go into labor? I'm also a day overdue..

My mucus plug came out with bloody show the day before I had my first daughter. My second daughter, the plug came out with no bloody show about a week before I went into labor. It's different every time, but I would say with your membranes being stripped, and the cramping it would be any time now.

I had my membranes stripped at 40w1d and 1.5cm dilated. I went into labor the next day, but didn't have bloody show until I was in the hospital and like 5cm dilated.
I don't think bloody show and mucus plug are the same thing, as I lost my mucus plug multiple times during my pregnancy, but only had the bloody, Mucousy junk in labor.
