Am I overreacting?

So my husbands mom had a still born that was born st 8 months over 20 years ago. She believes in mediums and thinks everything they say is right. She calls me today and says that the medium told her that my baby is her still born baby coming back. I'm overly pissed right now.. Am I overreacting about this?? She continues to over step over and over again.

No at all! I would be beyond furious of my MIL did that. My hubby would have lost his mind on his mom if she'd pull anything like that. My advice is not to answer her calls until you know there's a conversation about boundaries. You have enough to worry about.

I would be pissed the hell off. That's too much. No one wants to hear that about their baby! That's exactly why I don't speak to my MIL. She's too negative and stressful. I don't believe that girl, your baby will be born beautiful and healthy! ❤️

Her previous pregnancy has nothing to do with you, there are no strings attached. I don't care how spiritual you are - your baby can only come back to YOU and that's only if YOU feel that way. Chin up Hun, I wouldn't listen to her

I guess I'm the odd man out. Lol I wouldn't have been pissed. I would just tell her that even if it is or isn't this is ur child at this point and just because u believe it's her still born baby coming back does not mean it is her baby to have total control of. But then again she may not feel that way. She could have just shared that with u bc she was surprised and happy her child was rejoining the family.

I would just ignore what she said and block it out of my mind! Forget about it and move on.
