How long do you guys usually breastfeed for?

My little one was ravenous from day one. She went 15 to 20 minutes per side. I went  through a lot of nipple ointment!

I've been told about 10 minutes per boob. So 10 minutes on one and 10 on the other for a combined 20 minutes. That's just what my SO's sister did with her baby though. At that point she wasn't a newborn so a newborn may need less time per breast.

It's recommend 15-20 min per side every two hours for the first 4-6 weeks.  And every two hours is from the start, not when you finished. So say you fed at 12:00, you would feed again at 2:00 even if the last feed didn't end until 1:00
