Lighter/early period after the pill??

Has anyone a lighter period or early period after going off the pill? I went off in the middle of May, had a normal period at the end of May. I wasn't supposed to get my next one until the 23rd and I got it 2 days ago. It is also a lot lighter than usual. I'm usually using super tampons for 2 days and having to change them every few hours but I've been using regular ones and changing them every 5 even though I don't really need to. Anyone experience this? A couple weeks ago I ovulated and we started ttc.
