How long is your average period?

I ask because I'm having my second 8+ days period and I'm trying to see if I should be concerned? Annual ob appointment next month..

It used to be 5-6 days but now it got down to less than 3 days!

Before getting on the pill mine were about 7 days, now they're 4-5. The "average" period can be anywhere from 2-7 days. If you're concerned and want that to change, talk to your dr and see if the pill or some other bc would help.
