So I had proper sex for the first time the other night and we used a condom and stuff but, I'm kinda scared cause I'm not on the pill atm and because I'm 16 I'm too scared to tell mum, do you think I should get the bar or the pill or something, I'm not sure what to do

You should try telling her, she probably knows anyway mom's are very intuitive that way,  she can take you to the doctor and get something prescribed just for you so you won't get messed up on some weird over the counter contraceptive

If you are going to start having sex regular you need to use some sort of birth control, just to make sure you are as safe as possible

Since you are so young is it possible to get the pill or rod without your mum knowing? If she can't know and you have no way of getting birth control maybe hold off on sex until you can get it x
