how to deal with the itchiness!!?

i am 2 weeks postpartum, and recently i been having a lot of itching down there specially where my clit is. i tried everything, I apply  witch hazel with a cotton ball, dermoplast, even my baby's butt creme! 😞 it's  making everything difficult to do and stressful .

It happens. Just air it lol when that happened to me, it felt like it burned as well. I'll just let it get some air and later put an ice pack. Not direct contact though.

Yes yes yes. I thought I wasn't going to make it through the itchy phase. I had a second degree tear with stitches and a cath. I got some itch relief cream for yeast infections that helped a little, as did the spray dermaplast I got from the hospital and witch hazel pads. I also made sure to clean really well with water down there in the shower. TMI, but I found that some remnants stayed down there since I was only using the peri bottle after using the bathroom and patting dry instead of wiping. My detachable shower head made it easy to spray out all the crevices. I seriously think that was the worst part of healing for me. It does pass though, hang in there!

Did you happen to have a perineal tear? 
I had stitches with mine and went through a really itchy phase. Was horrible but the good news is once that passed I was pretty much pain free. I think it was just part of the healing process.
