Implantation bleeding or on coming period...or maybe ovulation spotting?

Recently after a year of trying and discovering I have PCOS, and deciding to quit trying, to losing 16 lbs.  I had a period on May 29th.  Today is cycle day 22 and on cd 20 June 17th I had light pinkish/brown spotting, twinges in my mid section and little cramps and stuff below my belly button it was weird... Anyways, I took it as either one of the three; ovulation spotting, implantation or oncoming period... (My periods are irregular btw) but lately they have been pretty predictable.  My SO and I bd on June 2nd, 8th, 12th and, the day of spotting the 17th.  Everything I've read says it is implantation bleeding, but it could also be ovulation i think :/
