Pregnancy induced lactose intolerance?

Kimberly
In usually a BIG ice cream eater. Since becoming pregnant with my second baby I haven't had a desire to eat it at all. I'm now 28 weeks and I've had ice cream a few times here and there and everyone I feel so sick!!!! Full on nausea and stomach upset. Has anyone ever experienced this?

That happened to my mom. She never had an issue with milk until after having my brother.

Both of my pregnancies have done this to me, however I'm not able to get over it after I give birth. I've read that as we get older it becomes harder for us to digest lactose, so this may just be natural for some of us. I've switched to FairLife milk. It tastes just like milk without the lactose. I still sneak in some ice cream every now and then.😉🙃

I knew I was lactose intolerant before my pregnancy , but once I become pregnant it got 1000x worse. Before it was manageable and I was able to slide in a bowl of cereal with regular milk or an ice cream cone, but being pregnant I couldn't do that without shitting myself..so..yeah.

I couldn't drink milk at all during my first pregnancy. However I was able to eat some yogurt and some cheese.
