Pineapple🍍Safe to eat?

So idk if this comes off as a silly question but how can pineapple cause labor? I mean I heard you have to eat the hard thing in the middle or is it the whole pineapple. I mean im 37 weeks and, I have a sweet pineapple waiting to be eaten but I don't want to cause labor to come. Want it to come in its own
