Severe insomnia and anxiousness
I know that I'm supposed to get as much rest as I can right now but I'm a FTM. Ever since I hit my 37 week mark, I've had severe insomnia.
Do you remember the feeling the night before the first day of school when all you can think about is that brand new crisp outfit you're going to wear for the first day of school? Well... That's me. I CANNOT sleep. I am literally up waiting for contractions, water break ... SOMETHING.
When I close my eyes all I see is my baby, me giving birth or just anything to do with my motherhood. My appointment is today at 3pm and I am still UP. I am so ready to go to this appointment even though I know it's probably just going to be another 10 minute session like the other ones.
Sorry to go on and on but I am BEYOND ready to see and hold my baby! I know I need to rest though. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make myself go to sleep without any meds and stuff?
