When to call doctor?

Question

Having extreme cramps like on the worst day of my period. My back hurts and I have lots pelvic pressure. No signs of any real contractions (never had any with my first) so I'm not sure what they should feel like anyways. Should I call my doctor or are they just going to tell me this is all normal and my bodies just getting ready for labor? I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow. Thanks!

Extreme cramps like on the worst day of my period was EXACTLY what my contractions felt like. I would get checked out asap

Your doctor doesn't charge you for calling them, call them all the time! There's usually a nurse on call that you can consult with if anything

It never hurts to call you doctor at anytime during your pregnancy if you have concerns

I started getting cramping, really bad cramp in and pressure at 31 weeks. I went into my doctors. They checked me for contractions and they were every 3-5 minutes. Now I'm getting monitored twice a week just to make sure the baby stays in there till atleast 34 weeks. I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow. Good luck Hun

I'm having similar pain. I've had some mild period like cramps juts on the right side over the last week or so, but they usually go away. This afternoon the right side of my back is hurting... To the point where I'm scared to be by myself. It's constant and has only let us a little bit!  I have an appt Wednesday, so I hate to make a big fuss out of it if it's just my body getting ready.
