When do moms pierce their baby girls ears !?

At what age do moms pierce their baby girls ears I want my daughter to have earrings but dont know what age to do it ...I have a son so I didn't have to worry about earrings bc I feel as boys can make their own decisions when they are older.

I got mine at 11.  I think around 11-12 is a good age.  However my husband is Latino and its common to get them done earlier though I'm not sure I agree.  However, if you baby will not be full Caucasian read up on keloids.  This is a big reason many people of color choose to do piercings early.

I would await to the child wishes to have their ears pierced and can take care of them. She may not want holes put in her ears. Let it be her decision.

Girls can make decisions too when they are older. My dad waited until we were old enough to take care of it and my brother in law is doing the same with his daughter

I pierce ears at work and I say as long as their ear lobes are big enough. To do it around 2 months. They cry so much less. If they are 1 1/2 - 6 it's very hard.

My daughter was 3 or 4 months ! I don't regret it at all. She cried for all of 10 seconds and that was it , she was happy after that ! Don't listen to people who say you should wait And let them make their own decision . if they decide they don't want them later in life , they can take them out.
