Those who have gd, what was the size of your baby at 20 week scan?

I was told baby was 47 percentile which is average size. And I failed my 2 hr test and am diagnosed gd. I am going to take a 3 hr test (my request) bc I abnormally ate lots of sweet stuff days before (I know, dumb) and think that had an affect on the test.

Answer

I had my 1hr test done at 13 weeks due to my history of GD in my previous 2 pregnancies. At my 23 week scan baby was weighing in at 1.4 lbs, which they said was perfectly normal, they didn't give a percentage. I'll also say my first 2 babes were born at 39 weeks due to being induced and only weighed 7.9lbs and 7.10lbs. I wouldn't worry too much. Carbs are the enemy when it come to GD, less carbs consumed the better the results.  Good luck!

GD should be done around 26-28 weeks. At our 20 week scan our boy was in the 97% lol I think you're fine. Oh, and I don't have GD
