Is it normal to have cramps a week before cycle?

My upcoming cycle is in a week and it is only my second time. I'm having really bad cramps and back aches... Please help!

Right before my new cycle starts a week before my breasts are tender and I get cramps and feeling light headed. Its normal

I've read that about 20% of girls have cramps and/or pains during ovulation. But ovulation usually occurs 2ish weeks before your period for most girls.

I always get cramps the week before af, it gives me a heads up she's coming which is nice to a point lol
