frustrated with my period

its currently the 43rd cycle day, my normal cycles are about 32-34 days long. I was sick for a week which I believe is the reason why it's delayed. I had sex twice but it was protected. why hasn't it come yet ?! sometimes I get paranoid that I'm pregnant but I know there's a low chance of that happening! I just want my period to come already!!
