How many pieces of clothes for baby for each month stage?

So this is my first time being pregnant and I have no clue how many pieces of clothes I need for the baby for each month stage? 
How many clothes for: 
Newborn: 
3 months: 
6 months: 
9 months: 
12 months:

Also I live in NYC and when the baby will be born it will be fall and for first 7 months he will be wearing basically winter clothes.

My advice is you'll need 3-5 onesies/outfits/pjs per day for the first few months- multiply that by how many days you want to go between loads of laundry! We try to shoot for three days in between baby loads, so that ends up being 12ish of newborn, 15ish of 0-3, and then slightly more of the bigger sizes, which they grow through slower. My son was 9lbs at birth but was in newborn for 4 weeks, 0-3 for 2 weeks, 3-6 for six weeks, and has been consistently in three times his size since then (1 years old in 3T 😱😱).

I do 16 in newborn size as thats 2 a day with some lift for washing day. As they get older i get more of each size as they will be eating solids and rolling around and will get more dirty.

Not too much newborn sizes(5 is a good number) because they don't stay in that size for a long period of time . Other than that 7-10 is a good number for the other sizes .
