First time tampons??!!

Okay so I have my period and I'm going on vacation tomorrow and I've never used a tampon😬 idk how to use them. I've never used them and they scare me. Idk what to do. I really want to go swimming but tampons really scare me and I hear people saying how they hurt badly to take out. Help?! Any tips or advice??!!!

Definitely look at the directions they actually may help. I started with a very small size to get comfortable using them then moved up after a bit (didn't take long maybe 2 or 3 times to get used to it). The more relaxed you are the easier and sometimes even standing up can help as crazy as it sounds although I don't do that. Don't be afraid either, just be patient and you should be fine.

It is going to be uncomfortable the first time but it'll be no biggie after that! :) a tip I have for you is to change it once you feel like it's getting full. Prob in 2-4 hours. I was heavy my first time and it leaked :( also, do not pull it out if it's not near full because pulling it out dry hurts like a mofo. Good luck! I learned to love tampons lol.

They are really uncomfortable at first but then u get used to it, maybe u should start wearing them before your holiday to get used to it. That way u can enjoy your holiday more

They don't hurt, sometimes you forget you're wearing one. Try to choose one depending on your flow that day. And don't worry about inserting it just try to relax and it will be easier. Oh and don't leave the applicator inside, I've heard stories of people doing that their first time.
