Is there something wrong with my vagina??

So recently I hooked up with this guy. The sex was phenomenal but I noticed that after a while my vagina kind of went dry. The inside wasn't of course, but the outside was and it made it harder for him to penetrate and made me kind of sore. This is not the first time this has happened either. So I was wondering is there's something wrong on my part? Is there something I can do? I'm freaking out a little about.
