UTI from not waking up at night?

So I'm pretty sure I have a UTI. I have an appointment tomorrow so I'm taking cranberry pills today. I'm not too worried about it but I'm pretty sure I have one because I'm not waking up to pee at night! I think I slept a total of 10 hours last night and never once got up to pee. My hubby wants me to start setting an alarm at 12-1 AM to teach myself to wake up to go. I'm curious to know if anyone else is so exhausted they aren't waking up to pee at night?

I dont have a choice my back starts to hurt when i have to pee and I have this really tight uncomfortable feeling in my kidneys. I get up at least 3 times throughout the night to pee. I am prone to UTI's so I learned not to hold my pee anymore.

UTIs don't really have anything to do with not waking up to pee. Yes, you can have asymptomatic infections where there are no symptoms but that's really rare.

Assuming you had a symptomatic one, you'd know it. Insanely painful urination, bladder cramps, possible back pain, barely any urine released, etc. before I was pregnant, I'd sleep all night without peeing. UTIs actually make you have the urge to pee more but hardly anything comes out.

UTIs are usually from bacteria transference during sex, not wiping properly, not peeing before or after sex, too many bubble baths, etc.

Cranberry pills don't do much to "cure" it because they are supposed to be a preventative thing. They help keep the E. Coli bacteria (number one culprit) from attaching to your urethral wall. But it won't hurt to continue them to keep away a UTI.

I suggest a lot of water, cut sugar and caffeine. Use Azo if it hurts to pee until you can get to the dr.

I feel like it's only a matter of time before I get a UTI. I am so lazy when I'm asleep I literally won't get up until it's like so much pressure in my pelvis I have no choice. Not the smartest thing but I can't wake up!

I don't get up at night either unless I can't sleep and get up. But I've heard that they are common. They will probably give u some pills.

I never get up to pee at night. Unfortunately, UTI is just very common in pregnancy.
