Normal?

So my periods are super light for the past year and a half. Its light the first day medium the next and light or spotting the last day. My ob says this is okay and that Im still going to ovulate as long as Im regular. We've been trying for a year now with no luck. Has anyone had a super light period and still gotten pregnant?

I started yesterday and have hardly bleed at all. Not once filled up a tampon and all today they have not had much blood at all. Its so odd..
