fragile x carrier anyone else?

Unexplained failed IVF on two healthy tested embryos. I've found a little about other carriers having a really hard time becoming pregnant even after testing. If there is anyone else please let me know how you're doing?

Hello Angela! I found out I was a fragile X carrier before going through with IVF, this is my first & 🙏🏻 it works! I'm currently in my tww with only 1 embryo transferred. Instead of a 5dt the doctor felt a 3dt would be more ideal. I'll keep you informed as my journey continues & lets keep positive!

I'm a fragile x carrier as well. My first transfer (we did a fet as we did genetic testing due to the fragile x) unfortunately failed. My second fet did work however, and I am now 24 weeks. My transfer didn't fail due to the fragile x though. All embryos I transferred were healthy and good quality. We found out that my first transfer failed to what is called a "luteal phase disorder". What causes a luteal phase disorder is the receptive cells in the lining of your uterus arrive either early or late. And it can cause your transfer to fail. It is very rare to have. But it's definitely something to look into if you have another failed transfer with a healthy embryo. But keep your head up! Sometimes unfortunately things just happen. And your next transfer could very well be the one! Good luck darling!
