I'm so excited!!

My daughter is EBF but we've had to use a nipple shield since day one! Since she turned 2 months old I've been trying to get her to latch without it at least once a day, usually ending in her getting frustrated and crying. Over time she would try more and more, eventually latching for a couple seconds and then unlatching and wanting the shield, she is now 3 and a half months old and today she latched and ate for 20 minutes with NO SHIELD!!!! I am so excited and proud of her progress and all we've accomplished learning to breastfeed! Just had to share my excitement because anyone that's had to use a nipple shield knows what a pain it can be! Hopefully soon I won't have to use it at all anymore! Yay! Thanks for reading!
