Thrush?!

Anyone's baby have thrush? We are exclusively breastfeeding and even after 10 days of drops and bum cream, and nipple cream for me...she totally still has it...such a pain in the butt to get rid of 🙄 Any advice?

Apple cidar vinegar mixed with water on paper towels. Wash off your nipple with that after every feeding. I also use coconut oil on my nipples and try to air them out as much as possible. Take a probiotic as well. Took me about 3 weeks to get rid of it. Good luck! Hang in there momma! I know it's tough

We've been battling it for 3 weeks. My lactation consultant recommend using violet gentian aka crystal violet. Make sure it's diluted. But 4 or 5 days of this works. You apply it to your nipple before nursing and inside babies mouth once daily. Dyes everything a violet color but works better than the nystatin we were both prescribed. That and boiling anything in contact with babies mouth everyday for 20 mins. Till its cleared up.

We are battling it too. :( so hard to get rid of. Cotton bras and after you wash them put them in sun to dry. Heard it helps kill the yeast. If you use soothers u have to serialize them as well. But we go back to doctors Monday for round 2 of meds.

Organic Greek yogurt on her bum and on your nipples. It helps kill the yeast and the cold feels amazing.
