Ok so last cycle was my first with clomid!

Ok but I'm curious about this, my positive was cd19, I got a solid smiley on a clear blue digital! But when I talked to the nurse and AF showed up she said I could have ovulated before what I thought I did. She said my hormones may not have showed up until later in my cycle! Has anyone ever been told this.. I mean it's basically like she saying the opk was wrong. And my progesterone was 11.13 which she said was topically  low if I ovulated that late I'm my cycle. She also said to time intercourse cd9 cd11 cd13 and so on so forth then I asked if she recommended everyday and she said no it shown to lower my chances. What do you guys think?
