When did you first heard your baby's heartbeat?

Using a home doppler device, when did you first find your baby's heartrate? I'm almost 10 and haven't found mine yet. I'm using the sonoline b. Thanks x

I have the same one. I heard it at 10 weeks 5 days BUT it took me 2 days to find it and it was a mix of placenta noise, my veins and babies heart beat. Doctor said not to worry and that sometimes you can't hear it until 12 or 13 weeks with the fetal Doppler.

Look up "fetal Doppler noises or sounds" 
That helped me a lot because I was able to separate all 3 beats. The placenta will sound like a gush of wind going through a tunnel of through trees.  When you move it be very patient and gentle.  Heart is sooooo tiny and baby is moving a lot so even half a centimeter is a huge difference.  Also babies heart won't sound like ours yet because it's still being formed.

Good luck and hope you find it! Give your belly a break and I know it's easier said than done but relax. Watch a funny show or do something that makes you happy and then try again later.

I heard it at 11w +1 day, that was the first time I looked for it as well! I find the home doppler gives me peace of mind.

10w3d. I don't know if I would have heard it earlier or not because I didn't get the Doppler until then.

In addition to checking when my bladder is full, I'll also prop my hips up with a pillow to let gravity give me a hand. Small, small movements with the wand is key. Move it just a hair, then adjust the angle slowly for a while. If no beats, move on a little further. I usually find my little one's heartbeat around the same area where I hear my own heartbeat by adjusting the angle of the wand.

I was about 9 weeks 4 days but it all depends on where your baby is hiding! Dont get frustrated, I looked for days and couldn't find anything, then one day, boom right there 👍🏻❤️

Make sure you're right above the pubic bone and pressing in a little!

First heard babies heartbeat at 8+1 on my Doppler!

My doctor found it at 9w1d and instructed me on how to find it so I was able to find it at home. She told me not to worry if I couldn't find it because baby can hide when they are that small!

I found mine right away at 9w1d. The earlier along you are then the lower the baby will be toward your pelvic bone. May also help if you have a full bladder which will help push baby upwards.
