Induced what week ?

If you go past your due date what week do the Drs induce you?? 40? 41? 42? My due date is July 03rd and I can totally see me going past it..

I went to 42w3d without being induced.

It's all up to the doctor. I had a doctors visit a few days before my due date and she knew I'd go over and gave me the option of inducing and asked me when I wanted to schedule it. So I was induced and had my first son 2 days after due date.

Some Drs are induction happy. It makes their job easier because they can make their schedule. Babies come when they're ready. They don't have an expiration date 😄  You can safely go to 42 weeks of you have a normal pregnancy ❤️

I told my doctor I don't want anyone but him delivering, and he'll be on vacation the week I'm die, so he's inducing the week before. I'm happy as ever about it.

It depends on your dr. I was induced with my 6 yr old at 38 weeks. The dr I'm using now won't induce u til 41 unless medically necessary
