When did you start washing baby's clothes?

I am 31 weeks tomorrow and DYING to wash and put away baby girl's clothes. I don't want them to get that musty smell from sitting in drawers, but on the other hand I have the energy and motivation to do it now. A friend suggested putting a dryer sheet in each drawer after washing. Anyone tried this?
