If you were 4 cm dilated last week and now you're having strong sharp lightening crotch, would you go in to L&D just in case? I'm having menstrual cramps also and pressure. But I'm just curious for those who have gone in to labor. When do you know that it's time to go?

Yea I would probably go get checked just in case. I'm surprised they discharged you at 4cm.

I had sharp shooting pain with my first, it would bring me to my hands and knees it was so painful. Turns out baby boy was hitting my sciatic nerve. If anything you can go just to be sure. How often is it happening?

I would time the pains, or call the hospital to ask if you should go in
