Tons of Braxton Hicks?

I'm 36 weeks and 2 days pregnant and since early in the 30 weeks I've been getting more and more Braxton Hicks each day yesterday I had them like four times just that day and they get to the point where I have to tell everyone to be quiet because I can't get thru them with noise around me. Could it be that labor is coming soon?
