I have my 6 week pp visit tomorrow and want to start bc. I'm afraid I will get pregnant on the mini pill. Has anyone ever actually had a experience with the combo pill drying up milk?

The mini pill isn't as effective after 6 months, so most doctors start you out on that then move to the combo after 6 months. They start with the mini pill if you are EBF because the combo pill will negatively impact your supply if taken before that timeframe.

There's a specific type of birth control given to mothers that are nursing so it won't dry up your supply. I use it and it works fine. My milk supply hasn't decreased at all. Just tell your doctor that you are nursing.
