Need help!!!

So I'm 15 going on to 16 August 3rd & my boyfriend is 18 but my boyfriend & I were talking about me going on birth control but I just don't want my mom to find out, but I'm bad at remembering things so I don't wanna do the pills & I hate needles but if I do go on bc I'm going to get the shot but my question is, is it all worth it? I'm confused & I don't know whether to go on bc or don't use them. I'm just scared of my mom finding out. I don't know what to do help me ladies!!
