Stripping your membranes?

We just left my doctors appointment for my 38 week check! She stripped my membranes, has anybody had any luck when   Their doctor did that?

Just got this done today at 39 weeks (was already 2cm dilated, 80% effaced, 0 station)... Fingers crossed it works!!

I'm getting it done next week, decided to wait till 40 weeks to do it, I want her to cook as long as possible.

I didn't have that done with my first, but my mom had it done both with me and my little brother. She said her water broke that very night with both. I may opt for that ha! 😆

Just had this done this morning at about 10 am! I have high blood pressure and wasn't ready to be induced so we opted to try the sweep to see if it works and then go back in Friday if nothing happens....

I'm nervous! Not much has changed yet except I feel a lot of pressure when I stand or move

With my second son he was born the next day. With this baby I have had my membranes stripped FOUR TIMES!!!!!! She just doesn't want to come! If your body is ready the membranes sweep will work, if not it does nothing

Yes ! The next day I went into labor

It's worked twice for me . I'm having a cesarean this time so doctor will not this time around.

Did not work my last pregnancies !!! Maybe this time but doc hasn't done that yet.
