When did you know you wanted another baby?

Question

So I was taking to my mother today and I mentioned that I'd be satisfied with just one child. She said that I couldn't know for sure yet - I may want more after I have one! Of course I may want more than one kid someday, but I can't say for sure at the moment. I was wondering what you ladies thought?

Did you always know you wanted more than 1? Or did you decide that the first baby was so fun that you want more? Or is it a one-and-done deal for you? I'd like to hear your experiences. :)

Took us a while to be financially ready for a second (first was a surprise). Plus, we weren't sure we wanted a second for a long time.  So my first will be 5 in November when I have my second baby! 😊

I have one and after his dad and i broke up, i was a struggling single mother who knew i could never have another. I wouldnt be able to support another one. That never meant i didnt want one but it just wasnt in the cards.

Fast forward 5 years, im happily married to the best guy in the world and we've been really excited to start extending the family, one kid at a time. 😁

Before I got discharged from the hospital I told my husband I was ready for another one. I got pregnant when my first was 5 months old. Due in December and my kids will be 14 months apart.

Always wanted to have 2 kids. Our first is shy of 9 months now,and we don't plan on trying for another for atleast 2 years.
