Can this happen??!!!

Question

So I'm have been taking opk this cycle and today I got a positive but I'm ovulating a week early , which I know is possible , my question however is I took my opk after BD with my DH so is it possible to get a false positive on opk after sex ? I have never ovluated early

I haven't heard of it having any affect?  Which you would think it would be a common warning if it was (but I honestly don't know for sure).... but it is possible to have more than one surge during your cycle.... false surges can occur prior to the real one... it doesn't mean ovulation more than once so the surges can infact be false.
