Monistat 1 Day Treatment

So last night at midnight I took to Monistat 1 treatment. I Read all the directions on the box/applicator pack/instruction paper, and I'm positive I did it right. I slept good all night and when I woke up I was a tiny bit sore down there. I went in the bathroom to look and my inner vaginal lips had swelled up like a balloon over night. I've been reading up on the issue and it's a 50/50. half the reviews said swelling is a side affect and their yeast infection went away. the other half said they had to do to the doctor and have the anti fungal cream flushed from their system and that they were put on an antibiotic. Im not sure what to do considering I'm not super itchy and im not burning like the women who went to the doctor were. should I wait it out or go see my doctor today?
