Bleeding during ovulation

Over the past three months my cycle has been extremely short and irregular. It usually is around 29-32 days but recently I have been having two periods every month. I always start bleeding again during my fertile window, so what is the correlation? Does anyone else experience this, and is this something I should see my doctor about?
