Itchy nipples and colostrum?

Okay guys so I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I've been producing colostrum since like 18 weeks. My nipples itch SO BAD sometimes and I've found the only way to relieve the itching it to squeeze some of the colostrum out (which my poor boobs are like a faucet! Lol) is anyone else experiencing this? Is it okay to do this?? I cant believe the amount of colostrum I'm producing i thought this didn't happen til later?

Update:..... So i guess i slept on myboob weird last night and i woke up at 2:30 am with my left side soaking wet and my bed was wet too... So my left boob was drained and my right was full of milk... Ugh.... And now they are both swollen anx full.... This baby needs to hurry and get here i dont know what to do with these things!!!!

I had the same problem, around 18 weeks as well, and my doctor said it was fine. Some people produce it faster than others. Just be prepared for leaky boobs. I had to start wearing nursing pads in my bras so it wouldn't leak through my bra and onto my shirt. Goodluck!
