Period or spotting???

Okay ladies!!! TTC for baby number one. I've recently come off nexplanon BC. It has been out 2.5 months. Last month on the 26th and 27th i experienced spotting/ light bleeding. Today on the 28th I started experiencing spotting/bleeding. It's went through my underwear, but it's not as heavy duty as my periods used to be before BC. It hasn't been enough to require a tampon, where as my old periods used to require super plus tampons. Do you ladies think I am having my period? Or just spotting?
