I've been having what I think are contractions since 8pm Saturday evening. At this point they were sore but bearable and lasting between 10-15 mins. I phoned labour ward an said can't go in until 3 mins apart consistent an getting worse. So by the time it got to 7am an no sleep my body couldn't take anymore and I was so tired I just kind of passed out asleep. Then the pains stopped. I soke up about 10 am Sunday morning and felt drained but the pains were gone so u phoned labour ward an she said it's normal it's either false labour or the start. I then left everything and got on as usual then at 2pm Sunday the pains begun again, sore but bearable these lasted right the way through Sunday night and Monday morning, another night with no sleep whatsoever. Yet the pains were increasing but still inconsistent an all over the place. It got to 6pm Monday where I'd been lay on my side to try an sleep an the pains because a little worse a then went to the loo to find a small amount of blood on my pad. So I phoned labour ward an explained what had happened again. They called me into be examined, where I was monitored an told that I was having tightenings an contractions but my cervix was posterior an closed. The midwife then seemed to of gotten frustrated with me an snapped. Told me to get a grip and to not go back to labour ward or phone again, as a first time mum this left me very upset an put off labour completely.

So I went home and tried to get on as normal. Yet another sleepless night waking up constantly with pains then 3am Tuesday morning the pains became different. Stronger and lasting longer in had a wet sensation so went the toilet an I'd started to lose my plug lots of mucous an bits of stringy blood. The pains continued right through the night, I was then sick at 9 am. The pains continued until about 4pm they then eased off and I finally felt slight relief but confused. 9pm the pains begun again this time a little stronger. And for the first time had a different kind of pain when baby moved it felt like all my insides were twisting an as if my nerves were trapped this caused me a lot of discomfort. And then the pains continued as normal and still are up until now 2am Wednesday morning. I really don't know what's going on I'm a ftm I'm scared, in pain an reluctant to phone labour ward again. I have tried everything 2x500mg paracetamol every 4 hours then went on to co codamol which was given to me by the hospital, baths sitting on a birthing ball ect. I'm 41 weeks plus 2 Baby is still moving, is engaged but back to back...please can someone help me?
