How long did it take to stop bleeding after birth?

If you had extenuating circumstances please comment. I would have put ç-sections but there's only room for 5 questions. Just curious because of another post on here about adult diapers. Thanks!

I had an epidural and I bled (like a heavy period) for about one and a half to two weeks then it slowed to a light period for an additional one to two weeks.

I just used huge maxi pads and granny panties and it worked well. The only time I (sorry this is super tmi... so you can stop reading, if you wish...) had blood run down my leg from a "leak" was in the middle of the night during my stay at the hospital. The mesh panty they provided for me was a size or two too big and it did not hold the huge pad well....
 I got up to change my baby's diaper and I felt it run down my leg *cringe* and I woke my husband to take over cuz I had to tend to it! lol 
It was super embarrassing and I apologized over and over to the cleaning lady.

With my last, all natural, I never bled. I kept waiting for a gush to come but it never did. I left the hospital wearing a pantry liner just in case. When I got home it was still clean. Weirdest thing ever! With my first I bled for 8 weeks.

I did vaginal with the epidural and I was bleeding for 4 or 5 weeks pp, but I wasn't able to relax like I needed to with my stitches bc my LO had jaundice and had to go to her Dr for 4 days after we got out of the hospital. Then I moved to MI from TN and had to sit in a car for 12 hours. I'll see how long this one takes to heal.
