Help is baby coming? TMI

Okay so I had a cervical exam Monday and was spotting. It went away and now this morning I have actual blood clots coming out. Is this normal after a cervical exam or is this a sign that baby is ready to come?? I'm almost 38 weeks

It's normal after a cervical check. If u do start getting contractions or leakinf then definitely go to l&d.

Anytime they stick anything up there, cramping, BH and/or spotting is to be expected.

I had this a couple of times, went to L&D and it turned out everything was fine...but I would still go just in case, if nothing else, it will put your mind at ease!
