Anyone having their baby sleep their room?

What is your baby going to sleep in at the start? I don't know whether to get a moses basket or a mini crib. I really like those circular cribs. Need ideas!

My twins will be sleeping in Rock n Plays for a couple months.

We live in a really tiny apartment, with 1 bedroom. We bought a mini crib (convertible to a toddler bed, and a twin size bed), and I have a bouncer/swing just in case. We have tk get rid of our dresser to fit the crib.

Our baby will be in a moses basket on a rocking stand at the side of our bed for the first few months. I like the idea of him being close and not having to get up to check on him or get him during the night and also believe the evidence that sleeping near the parents but on their own sleep surface reduces the risk of cot death. I also like that during the day a moses basket is really easy to take with you around the house etc, so he can sleep in the basket near me whatever I'm doing - they're even easy to take in the car if going out for the day or to visit family etc. We'll get a cot bed for once he's outgrown the moses basket and that'll fit in our room too, so he'll probably stay in with us until about six months, then he'll move next door.

We had a bassinet and a rock n play. We went back and forth between the two depending on which he slept best in that night. The nice thing about the bassinet was that was high up at bed level so it was easy to get the baby out to feed. We moved him into the crib after about a month.

Ours slept in the pack n play in our room (and on our chests really early on, first maybe 3 weeks or so) for the first 2 months...then we moved him to his crib in his own room when his tossing and turning was waking me up but not him 😂 worked great, he sleeps 8:30pm to 6:30 am now.

Yes, and might do a crib or a pack n plays. Still unsure. But I need to decide before baby comes in August.
